The Dhaka Stars is a franchise cricket team that plays in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), representing the country’s Dhaka Division. The previous name is Dhaka Dynamites. Following the 2015 competition, Dhaka is one of the BPL’s seven existing members and is expected to participate in the league’s 2022 edition as Bangabandhu BPL 2022. On the other hand, Bangladesh Cricket Board BCB was named as the sponsor of the team and it was renamed Dhaka Stars.
