The journey to Lhasa was long but it was worth it. We traveled by train which took us through some of the most beautiful landscape I have ever seen. The views from the train were breathtaking and I could have stared out the window for hours.
Once we arrived in Lhasa, we were met by our guide who showed us around the city. We visited all of the highlights including the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Drepung Monastery. We also got to experience Tibetan culture firsthand by attending a traditional Tibetan opera performance.
