Eligibility to apply for the exam
(A) The candidate must be a citizen of Bangladesh.
(B) Candidates must pass the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination in 2023 or obtain a GCE “A’ level certificate between September 2021 and August 2022.
(C) Students who have passed any Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education / Madrasa Education Board / Technical Education Board of Bangladesh should get at least a GPA of 4.00 in 2021 or 2022. Secondary or equivalent examination or at least equivalent grade in the equivalent examination.
(D) Students who have passed the Higher Secondary / Alim / equivalent examination from any Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in Bangladesh, Madrasa Board of Education / Board of Technical Education should get a separate grade point of 5.00 in each of the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English i.e. Mathematics, Physics. Chemistry and English will get a total grade point of 20.00.
English Version Students
The English version has to get at least an equivalent grade in the said subjects in the equivalent examination from the Board of Foreign Education. In addition, in order to be admitted to the Department of Bio-Medical Engineering, the concerned candidate has to get at least a grade point of 4.00 in Biology in the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.
(E) If the candidate has passed GCE ‘0’ and GCE “A” level, in order to participate in the admission test, he/she will have to get a separate ‘A’ grade in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English in GCE 0 ‘level examination. GCE “A’ level exams require separate ‘A’ grades in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. (F) Candidates must obtain at least 80% or equivalent grade in each of the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English in the Higher Secondary / Equivalent Examination 2022 from a foreign educational institution subject to having at least 12 academic years of the study period. Candidates should get an average of at least 60% or equivalent grades in the secondary/equivalent examination.
